What’s a bliss witch?

To be a bliss witch is to be in control of your own joy, your own sense of harmony with the world.

To be a bliss witch is to learn, deeply, what bliss is—and to learn how to summon it even in your lowest moments.

To be a bliss witch is to alchemize any experience into quiet joyous wonder, whether it takes moments or months or uncountable moons.

To be a bliss witch is to learn to accept and respect all the emotions, all the things a living being can feel, and to be able to find peace therein.

Anyone can be a bliss witch.

It does not mean that you are always happy; you let yourself experience all the emotions you encounter.

It does not mean making yourself happy at the expense of any other emotion, for all emotions are important.

I think of it, instead, as a way of walking the world, an ever-flowing way of being.

It is the ability to find peace with all experiences, pleasurable and painful alike.

That peace is a unique one, a blend of wonder and lightness and incandescence, like aurorae.

That peace is bliss, and a bliss witch learns to summon it like a spell of the self.
