A lot! Coaching offers clients tools that they can use not just once, but for the rest of their lives. These include tools for making sense out of large, confusing experiences; learning how to reshape your relationship with your emotions; learning new coping mechanisms; learning what harmony feels like; and more. What you get out of coaching, of course, is ultimately what you put into it. Coaching offers clients unique roadmaps, and coaches can help clients be accountable to their goals, but it is always up to a client to follow that roadmap, or to adjust it with their coach if need be.
-
Coaching sessions are typically done via video call. They can also be done over the phone if need be, but video calls are preferable. Clients may, however, turn off their video if they ever feel uncomfortable during a sharing session or need a quick breather.
-
All new clients must first do an introductory call (over video, the phone, or email), which you can sign up for by reaching out via our contact form on the Contact page. This call is always free. In it, we’ll go over what you’re looking for and see if we’re a good fit for each other. If so, we’ll move on booking a service.
-
Yes! While introductory calls are generally video or phone calls, clients who prefer to introduce themselves and communicate their needs can do so over email. Just indicate in your initial email that you’d prefer to do this over email, and once you receive a positive response back from Bliss Witch, you can send an email explaining what you’re interested in.

To book a writing workshop, reach out via the Contact form with some information about what you’d like to work through in your writing, as well as what sort of project you’re interested in: composing an essay, journaling, or crafting a work of short fiction. We will then work together over video or phone sessions to brainstorm and generate ideas together (a critical moment in which you may realize that you actually want to focus on something other than what you initially brought to us!). You’ll then begin working, on your own time and on a schedule proposed by your coach, to complete the piece, with the coach offering accountability along the way for actually getting writing done. Then, if you’re interested in feedback, your coach will read your work and offer professional feedback. If interested and if applicable, the coach can also offer advice on publication. The goal in these special, often beautiful sessions is to work through your feelings through writing—an act I consider almost sacred in of itself.

No. While Bliss Witch Coaching staunchly supports the transformational power of psychedelics and believes that integration is necessary to psychedelic experiences, we do not supply clients with psychedelic substances. We offer clients advice for preparing for trips and post-trip integration, but clients must source their own psychedelics.

Although Gabrielle is, in fact, a Doctor, she isn’t that kind of doctor. (She’s a PhD, a Doctor of Philosophy, rather than a medical doctor.) Therefore, she doesn’t prescribe medications or perform medical diagnoses. She works within her certifications and areas of expertise so that each client is treated ethically and honestly.

Bliss Witch Coaching got its name through one of those eureka moments all writers have: the idea that bliss, once properly understood in its nuance, is something we can learn to summon, as it were, within us. The word “witch” has many connotations and a long, rich history; here, it’s used to suggest the way that real life can feel utterly magical, enchanted, and sacred when we learn how to approach it, and our own inner landscapes, in new ways. To find bliss is its own form of magic.

No problem! Everyone falls sick at some point, or has unexpected emergencies/conflicts, or just has life happen to them. If you let your coach know in advance, you’ll generally be able to reschedule for no fee. If you miss a session but immediately let your coach know what happened, your coach will see if it’s possible to reschedule without charging you for your missed session. If a client is late to a session, the coach will discuss options. (We always do our best to accommodate clients and understand that big things can happen suddenly.) However, if a client misses a session without explanation, they may still be charged for the missed session. The client’s time is absolutely valuable—but so is your coach’s.
